Two Ingredient Healthy Cookies
Banana Oatmeal Cookies
If you follow my hubs and my recipes, you know a few things about me and my lifestyle, and those things are, that I love oatmeal, I love snacks, and I enjoy my healthy lifestyle that I have lived for almost two years now. Almost two years ago I lost forty pounds (post baby, and that is not counting the twenty pounds of baby weight I gained during pregnancy), and as an avid snacker, I have been able to keep that weight off. Ever since I have lost the weight I feel happier, healthier, and I finally have reached a point in my life where I enjoy the way I look in my clothing. Even though I have had success in my weight loss, there is still one thing that haunts me, taunts me, and follows me around making me want to forfeit everything I fought for. Every time I go into the grocery store those sugary little demons look me in the eyes, and scream for me to purchase them and indulge. Those damn cookies are loud, obnoxious, and taunting. I have given in to the demon treat a few times, only to feel fat, bloated, guilty, and still ravenous. Ever since I have been searching for a way to create a satisfying “cookie” that I can eat making me feel satisfied and full all the while not causing any severe detriment to my personal lifestyle and weight maintenance. After making several batches of undesirable “cookies” I am proud to say that I have found one that not only tastes sweet and delicious, but they also keep me full and curb my cravings for the real, detrimental deal. These healthier versions of the demon treat are filled with natural sugars, and filling oatmeal; the only ingredients are a banana and one serving of oatmeal blended together and baked to make a delicious treat for anyone desiring to live a healthy lifestyle and maintain a healthy weight without feeling the guilt of “cheating”.
So grab one of the two ingredient healthy banana oatmeal cookies and enjoy!
